Founder & Structural Engineer

SSR Structural & Design is led by Sai Enugala, P.E., a Structural engineer with 10+ years of experience designing Residential and Commercial projects across Nevada and California — from custom homes and multifamily buildings to steel, masonry, and tilt-up structures. Before founding SSR, Sai worked with respected Reno Structural firms — including McElhaney Structural Engineers and T&S Structural — and with Engineering firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California.

That experience spans custom homes, additions, remodels, and ADUs, as well as seismic retrofits, foundation design, and bridge work — so your project is handled by someone who has seen a wide range of real-world construction. Sai holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University (South Carolina) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from NIT Warangal (India).

We know the region — building in Reno, Washoe County, and the Lake Tahoe area means designing for real snow loads, seismic requirements, and local building-department expectations, and delivering Plans that pass permitting and match how things actually get built.
